Baobing and Ning achieve highest certified efficiency of single junction 1 cm2 organic solar cells to date. Our cooperation with the team of Prof Yip and Prof Cao from SCUT achieved a new record in the performance of organic non-fullerene based single-junction solar cells. Using a series of complex optimisations, we achieved certified power conversion efficiency of 12.25 percent on a surface area measuring one square centimetre.
