Huan gets the EnCN Energiepreis for his MSc thesis
Congratulation to Huan on getting the Energiepreis for his thesis “Two-colored organic photovoltaic modules enabled by laser annealing” (Supervisors: PD Dr. Hans-Joachim Egelhaaf, Dr. Andreas Distler). The research focused on developing a novel CO2-laser annealing method for the thermal processing of organic photovoltaic (OPV) modules. This technique enables a low-temperature, energy-efficient annealing process that is significantly faster than traditional hotplate methods. Furthermore, its integration into roll-to-roll (R2R) printing holds great potential to accelerate OPV device production, paving the way for more scalable and sustainable manufacturing solutions.
