This accolade places him among the top 1% of scientists globally for over a decade.
The HCR list acknowledges researchers who have authored multiple Highly Cited Papers™, ranking in the top 1% by citations in their field and publication year over the past decade in the Web of Science™. Selection is further refined through qualitative analysis and expert judgment, ensuring recognition of researchers with broad, community-wide influence and recognition from an international network of citing authors.
Out of a global population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000, with only 6,886 researchers awarded this honor in 2024.
