Dear Lili – cordial congratulations to finishing your PhD with “very good” success. You did a tremendous job in managing in parallel your thesis, preparing for your wedding and for giving birth to your first baby. What a finish! Your thesis gave us important insight into the function of molecular ternary and quaternary sensitization of bulk heterojunction composites and built the fundament for our future concepts and strategies to further enhance the efficiency of organic solar cells. As one of very few students you bridged the whole bandwidth from synthesis via photophysics all the way to device characterization. Impressive! We wish you all the best for your future career and especially for the next few weeks! Don´t forget to send us pictures from your baby!
