“Interface Engineering for Highly Efficient
Perovskite Solar Cells: Role of Surface Passivation”

Hybrid perovskite is emerging as a newgeneration of solution-processed semiconducting materials with fantasticoptoelectronic properties. Perovskite solar cells are rapidly emerging asserious contenders to rival the leading technologies. Photovoltaic powerconversion efficiencies have jumped from 3.8% to 25.5% In just a few years. Inmy talk, I will focus on some techniques that I have developed to increase theperformance of perovskite solar cells. I will cover topics including:

1) I use rare earth to passivate the TiO2film to improve the efficiency of the device.

2) I use anti-solvents and organic molecules topassivate the all-inorganic perovskite(CsPbIBr2) film, which obtainshigh-efficiency all-inorganic devices.
